ATA’s Guidelines for Trustmark Operators

The ATA’s Guidelines for Trustmark Operators (2008) cover the practice areas for online merchants. One of the stated goals of these guidelines is for the trustmark operators to have the ability to act as “APEC privacy accreditation service providers” using the APEC Privacy Framework and therefore deal with market demand for privacy assurance services. The practice areas are information disclosure, practices, security, privacy, alternative dispute resolution, and monitoring.
